It requires a highly proactive individual with strong creative, technical and analytic skills and passion for new technologies related to computer vision/on device machine learning.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, maintaining and executing test cases with minimal direction. Your ability to free test, without scripts and tools, will be paramount. Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts. You will be in continual dialogue with Engineering and Design as products evolve and you will need to have compassion for users so you can effectively advocate on their behalf. The ability to streamline processes for data collection and systematically parse large data sets will be a huge plus.\n
Experience with digital photography, video with a deep understanding of photography: Exposure settings, WB, depth-of-field, bokeh, sharpening, denoising, HDR, etc. \nUnderstanding of subjective/objective image quality evaluation, and color science concepts\nDevelop a testing methodology to gather input on subjective image/video quality changes\nDesigning and conducting experiments, Iterating through various parameters to optimize image/video quality\nCompetency in applying photographic best practices and techniques\nHave some understanding of computational photography and machine learning\nProficient with Image editing software \nQA Engineer experience is highly desired \nStrong presentation skills and ability to adapt to various audiences.\niOS and macOS familiarity\nUnderstanding of UX principals\nBachelor's degree in Color Science, Image Processing, or a related technical field.
Experience as a professional photographer in a competitive industry\nAnalytical, methodical, inquisitive and persistent problem solver committed to driving quality forward\nProficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines\nCan extract user scenarios from software feature descriptions and requirements to translate them into effective test plans and cases.\nOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)\nAbility to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levels
