Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO BSA to join our stable, support-focused SAP environment. This role emphasizes hands-on configuration and production support in a manufacturing-oriented setting, with a balanced workload of approximately 60% support and configuration, 20% enhancements, and 20% projects/data migration activities. No major new SAP implementation projects are planned for the next 12 18 months; however, ongoing enhancements and key electronic invoicing initiatives will provide meaningful opportunities for impact.
The successful candidate will resolve complex integration issues, drive process improvements across global finance operations, and support localizations in North America (NA), Latin America (LATAM), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This position offers the chance to take ownership, shape SAP FICO processes, and collaborate in a global, multicultural team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and configuration expertise for SAP FICO modules to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Resolve SAP integration issues involving bolt-on systems such as Concur, Serrala FS2, Vertex, and HFM.
- Drive process improvements and optimizations in areas including intercompany transactions, tax interfaces, and electronic invoicing.
- Support regional localizations and compliance requirements across NA, LATAM, and EMEA markets.
- Participate in enhancements and smaller-scale projects, including data migration activities as needed.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP Global Support, ABAP developers, Basis, Security, business finance teams, local finance, and shared services.
- Document configurations, processes, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
- Strong configuration knowledge in core FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Proven familiarity with SAP interfaces and bolt-on/third-party systems.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in global, cross-functional, and multicultural team environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP migrations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting.
- Basic awareness of ABAP debugging.
- Multilingual capabilities (Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin).
- Knowledge of localizations and tax solutions in key LATAM countries (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico).
Travel Requirements
Approximately 10% travel, primarily to U.S. sites; occasional international travel to LATAM and EMEA for project kickoffs, testing, or go-live support.
