Job Description:

This is a senior-level Data Governance and Data Science role focused on enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. The individual will work closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, experimentation, causal inference, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to understand and translate business challenges into analytical solutions.

Design, develop, and evaluate statistical, predictive, and machine learning models.

Apply advanced analytics, experimentation, causal inference, and LLM-based solutions to drive business outcomes.

Extract, prepare, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, R, and related technologies.

Solve complex and ambiguous business problems with minimal precedent and develop innovative methodologies when required.

Promote and support Data Governance best practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

9+ years of experience in analytics, statistical analysis, coding, and business problem solving (or 6+ years with a PhD).

4+ years of experience in predictive modeling and machine learning.

Hands-on experience applying Large Language Models (LLMs) to business use cases.

Experience with Data Governance platforms such as Ataccama (preferred), Informatica, or Collibra.

Key Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Expertise in Python, SQL, R, predictive modeling, and statistical methods.

Ability to solve unstructured business problems and convert findings into actionable recommendations.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Leadership experience mentoring and guiding data science teams.

Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and frameworks.

Job Description:

The Data Governance Analyst supports the organization's Data Governance program by partnering with business users, data scientists, and technical teams to improve data quality, governance processes, metadata management, data security, and regulatory compliance. The role serves as a key liaison between business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective management and use of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

Support business units in identifying and addressing Data Governance requirements.

Maintain and manage business glossaries, metadata, data catalogs, and data classification.

Collect and document data quality requirements and governance use cases.

Develop governance metrics, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.

Provide user support, training, and first-level assistance for Data Governance tools.

Manage role-based access controls and data security processes.

Assist in developing data policies, standards, and compliance frameworks.

Coordinate between business users, data scientists, and technical teams to drive governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in data analysis, business support, or governance-related roles.

Experience with Data Governance tools such as Ataccama (preferred), Collibra, or Informatica.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prepare reports, manage confidential information, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
