Wayne\'s Automotive is looking for a Lead Automotive Technician to join our team in Warminster, PA.
We\'re a family-owned business with three successful locations, a reputation for quality repairs, and a commitment to investing in our team.
You\'ll help lead a busy shop servicing approximately 50 vehicles each week while continuing to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily technician workflow and keep shop operations running efficiently
- Assign repair orders based on technician strengths and workload
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and complex mechanical repairs
- Diagnose engine, transmission, drivability, and electrical system concerns
- Mentor and develop technicians
- Partner with Service Advisors to maintain efficient workflow
- Help maintain quality control standards
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Ability to manage workflow while maintaining personal productivity
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Pennsylvania State Inspection License preferred
- Pennsylvania Emissions License preferred
- Previous Lead Technician or Shop Foreman experience preferred
