About the Opportunity

TEKsystems is seeking experienced Construction Project Managers to support a rapidly expanding hyperscale data center operations and infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to serve as an Owner's Representative, leading large-scale data center construction, capacity expansion, modernization, and infrastructure improvement projects that support one of the world's largest cloud computing environments.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing construction projects from inception through closeout, with a strong work history in hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, MEP systems, telecommunications, and fiber infrastructure. This highly visible position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, general contractors, vendors, consultants, and field operations teams to ensure projects are executed safely, delivered on schedule, maintained within budget, and completed to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects from planning through commissioning and closeout.
  • Coordinate internal resources, contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Support preconstruction activities including scope development, budgeting, planning, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Review contractor project execution plans, schedules, safety plans, and site logistics plans.
  • Oversee project performance related to schedule, cost, quality, procurement, safety, and change management.
  • Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings as the primary point of contact.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals of Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Method Statement of Work (MSOW) documentation.
  • Manage equipment procurement, delivery schedules, testing, commissioning, and turnover processes.
  • Conduct regular site walks to verify progress, quality, safety compliance, and construction milestones.
  • Coordinate site blackout periods, work stoppages, and operational constraints within live data center environments.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and external partners.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety and commitment to an Injury-Free Environment (IFE).

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Strong work history in hyperscale data center construction or other mission-critical facility environments.
  • Experience managing construction activities in live operational facilities.
  • Knowledge of MOPs, SOPs, MSOWs, commissioning processes, and change management procedures.
  • Experience overseeing General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00/hr.
