Salesforce Business Analyst - Healthcare

Position Overview: We are seeking a collaborative Salesforce Business Analyst to join our healthcare analytics team. This role will work alongside an existing analyst to support Salesforce implementations and integrations, with a focus on provider and payer workflows. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Salesforce experience (not just certification), thrives in Agile environments, and isn't afraid to ask questions and dig into complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with product, development, and QA teams to elicit and document business requirements
• Write and refine user stories with acceptance criteria using Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and prioritize work with stakeholders
• Translate business needs into Salesforce solution designs and configuration specifications
• Create data and interface mapping documents for Salesforce integrations with other systems
• Query relational databases using SQL for analysis, troubleshooting, and integration mapping
• Produce process and workflow diagrams using UML and BPMN
• Create wireframes and UI design artifacts to communicate requirements visually
• Present ideas and solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders in user-friendly language
• Contribute to team documentation and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in an IT environment
• Hands-on Salesforce experience - Health Cloud experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in Agile methodology, including story grooming and sprint planning
• Proficiency writing SQL queries (select statements, inner/outer joins, reading data dictionaries, understanding field types and keys)
• Strong requirements elicitation skills with ability to understand and define business needs
• Experience creating wireframes and UI designs
• Experience with UML and BPMN for creating process flows and diagrams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities
• Healthcare industry experience required, preferably with understanding of provider operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certification (any)
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional Business Analyst) certification
• Experience with Visio and Confluence

• We don't need someone who can write stored procedures or complex database development as SQL experience should be focused on analysis, mapping, and troubleshooting support
• We don't need a data analyst focused on reporting and analytics
