Summary
Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Introduction:
The Senior Java Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, including front-end and back-end components. They will work on a team to design, develop, and implement software solutions using a variety of technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Java 6.0 and J2EE application components such as JSP, Custom Tag libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, and JDBC
- Utilize Java Integrated Development Environments (IDE) like RAD 7.5 or above
- Implement Object Oriented analysis and design using design patterns like Singleton, Factory, and DAO
- Understand and implement MVC architecture
- Develop Batch Jobs and web services
- Work with IBM Websphere Application Server 8.0 and relational databases like DB2 and Oracle
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems is a plus
- Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot Microservices with Containerization and Cloud experience
- Migration from Monolithic to Microservices containerized using AWS EKS with Cloud Native Architecture
- Develop Angular UI and review microservices & Angular UI to align with existing monolithic functionality
- Conduct PoCs to integrate new tools/products and troubleshoot and resolve issues with EKS microservices
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- 7 years of development experience in Java 6.0 and J2EE application components
- Experience with Java IDEs like RAD 7.5 or above
- Knowledge of Object Oriented analysis and design using design patterns
- Understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience with Batch Job and web services development
- Proficiency with IBM Websphere Application Server 8.0
- Experience with relational databases and writing SQL statements
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of AngularJS
- Understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience with Web Services development
