Kubernetes Integration Engineer

This role is critical to the implementation, development, and maintenance of Computer Vision Applications, and Kochedge and NATS platforms used across 100+ facilities use cases spanning Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial activities. This group creates sustainable value and competitive advantage by leveraging Advanced Analytics, Information, Technology, and Actionable insights across the enterprise while focusing on futuristic possibilities of analytics. This role will have the opportunity to leverage the latest AI and Analytics technologies working closely with our data scientists and manufacturing capabilities.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Python, SQL, Docker, Bash scripting and additional languages development experience.
• AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, IAM, ALB, etc.
• Experience working with Containerized Application development and deployment in Kubernetes, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, etc.
• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, NATS, MQTT, or similar platforms
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Helm
• Expertise in crafting code within containerized environments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with version control/SCM is a must (experience with GitHub is a plus).
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability, judgment, and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
• Experience with edge computing architectures and hybrid cloud deployments
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Knowledge of deploying and executing applications on edge.
