The Opportunity:

IT Server Operations Linux/Windows Support role will support all aspects Linux & Windows OS and application support. This includes, but not limited to, OS monitoring, backups, patching, OS upgrades, file services and internal IT supported application and database operations and task automation as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Administration of various versions of Linux including RHEL and SUSE
  • Administration of various versions of Windows Server OS
  • Supporting Oracle ExaCC and engineered systems
  • Managing SAP HANA cloud and on-premises deployments
  • Patching and other security administration of the above systems
  • Participating in on-call rotation
  • Working with customers with different skill sets
  • Taking care of ServiceNow incident, task and changing tickets as necessary
  • Automating tasks and deployments with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and PowerShell
  • Administration and use of Grafana, Graylog, SCCM and SolarWinds
  • Working and negotiating with vendors as needed such as Red Hat, Veeam and Microsoft
  • Supporting backups and data protection for all systems above
  • Providing general server and application support
Requirements:
  • Expertise in various versions of Linux including RHEL, SUSE and Ubuntu
  • Expertise in various versions of Windows Server including 2019, 2022 and 2025
  • Knowledge of Oracle engineered systems
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with the SAP HANA cloud and on-premises deployments
  • Patching and other security administration experience of all the above systems
  • Ability to work with customers with different skill sets
  • Ability to maintain high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hands on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and PowerShell
  • Knowledge of backup tools like Veeam, Commvault and Rubrik
  • Great customer service skills and willingness to cross-train others
  • Team player, willing to work in small to large groups as needed
  • Self-starter, ambitious, creative thinker, doesn't except status quo and always looking at ways to continue to move the group forward
