Our software delivery teams are focused on business outcomes and are empowered to design

and build reliable, high-performing software systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, you ll

lead major software development initiatives, help establish best practices, provide architectural

and development guidance, and mentor junior Software Engineers.

Senior Software Engineers play a key role in a you build it, you run it operating model by

providing incident response leadership, mentoring others in operational best practices, and

shaping systems to ensure they are reliable and maintainable over time.

Responsibilities

Lead software development initiatives/projects and effectively collaborate with cross[1]functional teams to deliver quality software solutions on time and within budget

Lead technical solutioning, project planning, work breakdown, timeline estimation, and

work execution

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding

standards

Leverage best-fit frameworks, tools, and processes for project execution

Create high-quality software solutions that provide positive user experiences, align with

standards and guiding principles, and are maintainable and easy to support

Ensure solution economics and total cost of ownership are considered during design

and development

Assess, understand, and document system interactions, impacts of various designs,

and performance tradeoffs

Define and mature software engineering standards and practices

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and

alignment with department standards

Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level Software Engineers, fostering a

culture of continuous improvement and career development

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues within defined timeframes

Participate in incident response activities and on-call rotations, providing leadership for

resolution of high priority and complex production issues

Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues

Lead continuous improvement efforts related to application stability and supportability

Must Have:

6+ years of full stack development (.Net / React)

C# / .Net

React

SQL

API

Messaging/event-driven architecture experience, including Kafka, SQS, or message bus patterns

Nice to Have:

AWS Lambda experience

AWS SQS experience

Google Cloud Platform exposure, especially Cloud Run

Experience with order processing/intake systems, data translation, POS, EDI, OMS/WMS, fulfillment, retail, or supply chain systems
