We're looking for a Lead Commercial Mechanic to lead a team of mechanics in performing non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles.

What you will be doing as a Lead Mechanic:

  • Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications.
  • No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.
  • Providing guidance and training to other team members
  • Helping to assign jobs and duties to team members
  • Assisting with scheduling customer jobs
  • Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task
  • Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory.
  • Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs.


The boxes you have to check to apply:

  • Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles.
  • Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.
  • Must have own tools and tool storage.
  • Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.
  • Possessing a CDL is a plus.
