We are looking for a hands-on Senior .NET Full Stack Technical Lead to be the onsite technical lead and main technical owner for an application development stream at a large enterprise client.
Technical Leadership & Delivery Responsibilities
• Act as the technical owner of the application development stream and the main technical escalation point for the development team.
• Turn business and functional requirements into technical designs, estimates and implementation plans.
• Own technical design and implementation decisions; Own technical activities for deployments and production releases.
• Keep technical documentation complete and up to date: designs, API specs, deployment and runbook notes, and RCA reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of .NET and full-stack developers. Give technical direction and task-level guidance, and unblock developers.
• Run code reviews and enforce coding standards, branching strategy, security practices and quality gates.
• Coordinate work across onshore and offshore teams. Make sure handoffs, overlap hours and accountability are clear.
• Work with QA to confirm technical readiness, including test environments, test data, defect triage and fix verification.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, deployments and release schedules.
• Lead production release activities: readiness checks, deployment execution or oversight, rollback planning and post-release validation.
• Support production incidents as the technical lead. Triage issues, bring in the right teams, communicate status and own RCA and corrective actions.
• Bring in infrastructure, cloud, database and security teams when issues cross application boundaries, and drive them to resolution.
Required Experience & Qualifications
• 10–15+ years of software development experience, mostly in .NET web application development.
• At least 3–5 years in a technical lead, team lead or onsite lead role, with direct responsibility for a development team's technical output.
• A proven record of taking applications from requirements to production release, including owning deployments and post-release support.
• Experience coordinating onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience writing and reviewing technical designs, requirements, test plans and deployment documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Oracle PL/SQL experience, beyond SQL Server.
• Deeper Azure experience: Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Application Insights, Service Bus.
• Automated testing frameworks: xUnit/NUnit/MSTest, Jest/React Testing Library.
• Secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10) and authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD / Entra ID).
• Monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights, Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
