Application Functional Analyst

TransAmerica Technology Services is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our team supporting a mission-critical Time & Attendance application for a Federal Government customer in Oklahoma City.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving application problems, working with users, analyzing data, and figuring out why something isn't working as expected.

The successful candidate will provide Tier 2 application support, troubleshoot complex application issues, work with end users and technical teams, and help identify and resolve problems involving application functionality, data, configuration, and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated application support issues.
• Work with users to understand and diagnose problems.
• Analyze application data and business rules to identify root causes.
• Coordinate with development, database, and infrastructure teams when needed.
• Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Assist with application testing, UAT, enhancements, and reporting.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.

  Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application support, Tier 2 support, systems analysis, or technical support.
• Experience supporting enterprise or business applications with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with users to resolve application issues.
• SQL/database experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with Time & Attendance, Payroll, HR, ERP, financial, or government applications is a plus.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Education: 

·       An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

·       Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
