About the Role

The Digital Healthcare Business Unit at Analog Devices develops transformative products ranging from medical imaging to wearable sensing and in vitro diagnostics. We exist to accelerate human breakthroughs that enrich lives and the world. As our products evolve from integrated circuits to higher levels of full-system solutions at the edge of what's possible, we seek a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to help support bold experiments and accelerate learning through prototyping, testing, analysis, and technology scouting.

This is a full-time, in-person co-op opportunity running from June through December, based on-site with the Digital Healthcare team.

The successful candidate will have an interest in defining, designing, and driving to market sensing, electromechanical, and fluidic products within the medical device, wearable, or biotechnology industries. Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and hands-on prototyping is required.

A Mechanical Engineering candidate who enjoys working cross-functionally with Electrical Engineering Hardware, Software, Biomedical, and Usability colleagues as well as external vendors will thrive in this role. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Currently in their junior or senior year of a bachelor's degree, or pursuing a master's degree, in Mechanical Engineering
  • Available to work full-time, on-site from June through December
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance and hands-on lab or project experience in dynamics, fluid mechanics, and electromechanical systems
