Support client's conversion efforts related to their instance of Hogan IDS. Work will be on a staff augmentation basis, directed by the client day to day.
Responsibilities
Provide Hogan IDS development capability
may include, but not be limited to technical design, coding, unit testing, support for advanced testing and production migration. Proficiency in Hogan IDS is a must and preference for additional knowledge and experience in Hogan CIS.
Skills
Must have
5+ years of development experience on EasyTrieve. EasyTrieve is used heavily in the conversion process for data analysis (reports) and data transformation and can be hundreds of lines of code per program. It can be complex. This is a key part of our proprietary process and methodology that has been built over the years. This is the hardest skill to find and therefore the most important requirement. A comment has been made that those that "speak assembler" tend to catch on quicker.
10+ years of Hogan IDS deposits development experience. Ideally both DDA and TDA. They need to understand files and job flows.
Conversion experience is ideal. Client uses Moskowitz code for the account conversion piece, but understanding the data mapping process in any environment is helpful.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment. Conversion work can ebb-and-flow depending on where we are in the conversion process.
Communication is important to understand mapping requirements and asking questions when clarification is needed.
Nice to have
Knowledge and experience in other Hogan applications, specifically Hogan CIS.
