Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning pages, and Visualforce.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, Salesforce design patterns, and CRUD operations.
- Develop and optimize SOQL queries and Salesforce configurations.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Support existing custom Salesforce applications and contribute to the CT-KIND system implementation.
- Analyze integration requirements and develop solutions to integrate applications.
- Perform full-stack web development using Salesforce and related technologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate with project teams, share technical expertise, and mentor less-experienced developers.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and independent work skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall professional IT experience.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex and object-oriented programming.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development and design patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning pages, Visualforce, SOQL, and CRUD operations.
- Knowledge of .NET, object-oriented programming, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Experience in end-to-end web application development.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks from requirements through implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
- Experience with government or child welfare information systems.
- Prior experience working with the State of Connecticut is beneficial.
Work Location and Interview Requirements
- Candidates must be located in Connecticut or be willing to relocate and meet the onsite requirements.
- At least one in-person interview is required. The first and second interview rounds are expected to be in person, as specified in the requisition.
- Candidates must be able to commute to the Hartford, Connecticut office as required.
