Summary

System Validation Engineer

Introduction:

The System Validation Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive validation strategies for embedded controllers in the HVAC domain. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system compliance with functional, performance, and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop validation strategies for embedded controllers in HVAC domain.
Create and maintain test plans, test content, execution schedules, bug reports, and test reports.
Execute validation activities throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain automated test solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software interactions.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in validation methodologies.
Ensure alignment with project schedules and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in system-level validation, preferably in embedded systems.
Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, RTOS, and firmware development.
Proficiency in debugging hardware/software interfaces.
Expertise in validation tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages (Python preferred).
Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, BLE.

Preferred:

Familiarity with programming languages like C, C++, C#, and scripting languages such as Python, bash, Rust.
Experience in validating systems in industries like HVAC, automotive, aerospace, medical, industrial controls, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with test management tools, Azure DevOps preferred.
Expertise with version control tools like Git and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
