Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced
Cable Technician to support commercial low-voltage projects in the Wilmington, NC area. This role is primarily hands-on and focused on
cable pulling and termination. Candidates should be comfortable working independently on active job sites and handling physically demanding work.
Responsibilities- Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Terminate cables to patch panels, jacks, and faceplates
- Drill through walls, ceilings, and floors to complete cable runs
- Dress, label, and organize cabling per project standards
- Read and follow drawings, layouts, and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Experience & Skills- 1-2+ years of hands-on cable technician experience
- Strong experience with structured cabling, pulling, and terminating
- Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical tasks
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications- Cable testing experience (Fluke or similar tools)
- Ability to read blueprints or low-voltage drawings
- OSHA 10 certification

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
