Job Summary

We are seeking experienced WordPress Engineers to join our team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in WordPress development, customization, and maintenance, with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.

Customize existing WordPress solutions and implement new features.

Optimize website performance, security, and SEO best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.

Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and external systems.

Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards and documentation.

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.

Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, and REST APIs.

Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and debugging.

Experience with responsive web development.
