JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: The Senior Shopify Developer will lead the development and customization of Shopify stores This role involves designing and implementing new features optimizing performance and ensuring a seamless user experience The Senior Developer will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross functional teams

Objectives of the Role

Lead the development and customization of Shopify stores to enhance user experience and functionality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery

Continuously learn and apply new skills to contribute to the teams success

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and customisation of Shopify themes

Design and implement new features and functionalities using HTML CSS JavaScript and Liquid

Integrate third-party apps and services to extend store functionality

Optimize Shopify stores for performance SEO and mobile responsiveness

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Stay updated with the latest Shopify trends and best practices

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in HTML CSS, JavaScript and Liquid

Strong understanding of Shopify''''s platform, including themes apps and APIs

Experience with version control systems like Git

Knowledge of SEO principles and responsive design

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with database management and data migration processes

Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and consumer behaviour

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time

Must Have Experience

Proficiency in both backend and frontend Shopify development

Extensive experience in theme customisation and Shopify app development

Ability to develop custom integrations and middleware solutions
