Job Details

Most of the profiles we received have technical experience regarding ServiceNow development. Please note, this role is for Software Asset Manager (process manager role) who had an experience of managing SW lifecycle utilizing ServiceNow SAM pro module. This role is not expected to perform any development role. We are looking for a candidate who has hands on experience in reviewing contracts and creating corresponding SW entitlements, Create SW contract records and relate them to SW models, reconcile SW data coming from Intune, ACC, JAMF ensuring no duplicate SW models are created and mapping SW Entitlements with users/assets after reviewing SW installation data from discovery sources.

Experience: 6+ years

Essential Functions:

  • Should have workflows understanding and experience in managing Software Asset lifecycle in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Professional module.
  • Administer and manage software models, entitlements and license metrics.
  • Perform license reconciliation to ensure compliance with vendor contract.
  • Work with IT, procurement and vendor to manage software purchases, renewal and audits.
  • Analyze software usage data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee normalization and reconciliation of discovered software data across the environment.
  • Develop and maintain dashboard and reports for stakeholders on Software usage, compliance and risk.
  • Review Software contracts and create corresponding entitlement records.
  • Create new Software models in line to ServiceNow Content Library.
  • Confirm software models are correctly linked to discovered installations and entitlements.
  • Check and verify models have correct license metric definitions (e.g. per device, per user, core-based etc), belong to correct publisher and include versioning and edition details.
  • Identify and remove duplicate software models and entitlements.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners, stakeholders, and Engineering teams to understand software product license model
  • Facilitates cross-discipline awareness including cross-training and engagement in processes, gathering service-related data, creating dashboards, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
