Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Solutions Architect / Engineer with deep Azure and Microsoft environment experience to evaluate current security posture, identify gaps, and drive remediation. This role is ideal for an architect-level professional who can quickly come into an environment, diagnose issues, and design Azure-aligned security solutions-moving from assessment to implementation with strong autonomy.

Requirements

Strong experience designing and improving security architectures in Azure and enterprise Microsoft ecosystems.
Proven ability to assess security posture, identify control gaps, and architect remediation solutions aligned to best practices.
Hands-on experience with Azure security services (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID, identity and access management, threat detection, and security hardening).
Strong understanding of Microsoft security tooling and architecture (e.g., Defender suite, Sentinel, Purview) and operational best practices.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of security architecture improvements from discovery through execution.
Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable architectural guidance for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the organization's Azure and Microsoft security environment and current practices to determine effectiveness and risk.
Design a remediation roadmap and lead architectural improvements to establish or refine security best practices.
Architect and implement security controls and configurations to strengthen protection across the Azure environment.
Partner with internal teams to prioritize fixes, remove blockers, and drive adoption of recommended architectural practices.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and measurable.
Document architectural decisions, findings, and implemented changes to support ongoing security operations and governance.
