Quality Assurance Tester (Web & Mobile)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of web and mobile applications. This role combines hands-on manual testing with the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will partner closely with developers, stakeholders, and distributed QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore testing teams to ensure complete test coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven QA testing experience supporting web and mobile applications.
Strong hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
Experience with API testing and database testing.
Ability to design, develop, and execute automated tests, not just run existing scripts.
Solid understanding of Java and/or TypeScript.
Experience with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
Experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Additional Information
This role requires working onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
Initial contract term is 12 months, with the potential for extension.
