Job Title: Land Survey Technician 3
Location: Vancouver, WA
Client: American federal agency
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $42/hr on w2
Number of Days Onsite: 3 days per federal pay period
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Corresponding Experience (required on matrix):
· Associate’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Drafting or other closely related technical field; or equivalent course work/classes in the area of surveying and/or drafting is required.
· Note: Matrix and resume should detail any related course work/classes. Provide a list of the specific course work/classes being claimed as “qualifying”, including a list of specific hours for each class and the name of the education institution where the classes were taken.
· 5+ years Land Survey Tech or Cartographic Tech experience is required.
· LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) certification is required.
Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix):
· 3 years of mapping experience is required.
· Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation and ArcGIS Desktop.
· Knowledge of and experience with various horizontal and vertical coordinate systems and datum (ie. State Plane Coordinate Systems, UTM grid system, NAD83, NAD27, NAVD88, NGVD29).
