Role Overview
Apex Systems has an opening available for an Automation Solutions Architect with one of our banking clients out of Laurel, MD. Our client is establishing a new automation team and seeks its foundational member, a highly technical Automation Solution Architect. This individual will serve as the senior-most resource and technical lead. This is a hands-on role where you will both design and build automation solutions from the start, while helping to shape and grow the team over time. The position requires a commitment to a hybrid work model with three days onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end automation solutions using RPA tools.
- Build automation frameworks and workflows, primarily within UiPath.
- Develop both attended and unattended bots to meet business requirements.
- Utilize UiPath Document Understanding (DU) for intelligent automation use cases.
- Integrate automation solutions across various enterprise systems.
- Act as the technical lead, establishing best practices and standards for the new team.
- Mentor and guide future team members as the automation function grows.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and assess new automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience:- A strong, hands-on development and coding background is critical.
- Deep experience with RPA technologies such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, with a strong preference for UiPath.
- A proven track record of building a significant volume of bots.
- Experience with the end-to-end automation lifecycle, including attended and unattended automation.
- Proficiency with UiPath Document Understanding (DU).
- Ability to both design solutions at an architectural level and perform hands-on development.
Preferred Qualifications
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification.
- UiPath Solution Architect Certification.
- Additional relevant RPA certifications are a plus.
