AWS Data Engineer - Pittsburgh, PA (Day One Onsite)

Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Day One Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Employment Type: W2 or 1099 (No C2C)

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience (Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Step Functions)
• Python/PySpark and SQL
• Apache Spark
• ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Data warehousing and data modeling
• Git and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AWS-based data pipelines
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows
• Integrate data from multiple sources
• Ensure data quality, performance, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions

Preferred: AWS Certification, Airflow/MWAA, Snowflake or Databricks.
