Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Automation Architect
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly technical, self-driven Senior Infrastructure Automation Architect to lead the transformation of our enterprise infrastructure into a self-service, automated ecosystem. You will be the primary engine for high-priority automation engagements, building the end-to-end workflows, custom tooling, and API-driven integrations that eliminate manual toil and drive operational efficiency across our platforms.
This is a developer-centric role for an engineer who treats infrastructure like software. You will lead the full lifecycle of complex automation projects, ensuring our systems are not only automated but also secure, scalable, and fully integrated with our enterprise technology stack.

API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs (using FastAPI or Flask) to orchestrate diverse automation workflows and implement integration patterns between disparate enterprise systems.
Custom Tooling: Create advanced automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to address unique business requirements, filling the gaps where off-the-shelf tools fall short.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines. Enforce version control, automated testing, and secure coding standards to ensure that infrastructure changes are predictable and reliable.
Collaboration & Governance
Technical Stewardship: Define and contribute to automation standards, governance frameworks, and best practices. Lead the development of runbooks and knowledge-base articles to ensure maintainability.
Agile Leadership: Work within Agile/Scaled Agile frameworks, partnering with infrastructure, security, and service-delivery teams to ensure automation solutions meet the needs of the wider organization.
Operational Excellence: Provide technical support for deployed automations, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in rotation-based technical support as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience Baseline: Minimum of seven (7) years of extensive, enterprise-grade software development and automation experience across the full lifecycle (development, maintenance, support).
Technical Mastery:
oAdvanced Ansible Expertise: Proven experience developing complex playbooks, roles, and workflows in high-security enterprise environments.
oScripting Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python and Bash/PowerShell.
oAPI Development: Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs to trigger automation workflows.
Infrastructure Knowledge: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems, Windows server environments, and cloud (AWS/Azure) infrastructure.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
