Position Description:
We re seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead high-visibility, mission-critical initiatives focused on application/system retirement (decommissioning), compliance review updates, and security risk reduction across a large enterprise environment. You ll own delivery from planning through execution driving scope, schedule, budget, risks, documentation, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive PM who can manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, bring structure to ambiguous environments, and communicate clearly with both technical teams and leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple concurrent projects end-to-end, including scope definition, planning, execution, tracking, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project artifacts such as project management plans, schedules, integrated master schedules (IMS), work breakdown structures (WBS), financial/status reports, and risk/issue logs
- Drive and coordinate application retirement/decommissioning activities, including validation of remnant removal to reduce security exposure
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to guide work, remove blockers, and ensure successful outcomes
- Produce high-quality written deliverables (project documentation, training materials, SOP inputs) and present updates to executives and senior leaders
- Support or interface with information security / accreditation processes and contribute to security policy/process documentation as needed
- Create and manage SharePoint team sites and content (documents, lists, libraries), including customization and ongoing maintenance
Required Skills/Education:
- 13 20 years of relevant experience in project/program management (or equivalent senior delivery leadership)
- Proven success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and delivering to scope/schedule
- Strong experience with application retirement, system decommissioning, or SDLC retirement processes
- Knowledge/experience supporting information security activities and understanding the accreditation/authorization lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation + executive briefings)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex tracking, metrics, and stakeholder coordination
- Hands-on experience building/managing SharePoint sites and content
- PMP (or similar) preferred (not required)
- Education: Degree preferred. If degree is not in the applicable field, additional related experience may be required (per client requirements).
- Work authorization requirement:
- Travel requirement: Cannot have more than 6 months of travel outside the U.S. within the last 5 years (military service excluded)
