Please note this position is a 6 Month contract position, and will be 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have experience in warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory management
· Experience working in a cGMP/GMP environment is highly preferred
· Experience with inventory control and accurately processing inventory/material transactions
· Experience performing physical inventory counts
· Experience with shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, staging, and delivering materials
· Experience transporting materials between departments, facilities, and/or production areas
· Experience selecting and transacting materials for work orders
· Must have experience operating material handling equipment
· Forklift experience is required
· Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and/or side-loader forklifts is preferred
· Experience operating pallet jacks is preferred
· Must be able to work in narrow aisles and cold storage facilities
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing, laboratory, or warehouse environment
· Must be detail-oriented and able to accurately complete transactions and fulfill requests in a timely manner

Job Description:
Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for processing daily distribution tasks related to loading, unloading, moving/transferring, and transacting materials to support in-plant logistics. The individual must be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while accurately completing transactions and fulfilling requests for the receipt, delivery, and shipment of goods. This position operates in a cGMP environment and requires strong inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
o Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
o Perform physical counts of inventory.
o Transport materials between departments, facilities, and/or production areas.
o Accurately transact inventory and material movements in accordance with inventory control practices.
o Select and transact materials for work orders.
o Accurately count, stage, and store materials and supplies.
o Operate sit-down, stand-up, and side-loader forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment.
o Operate material handling equipment in narrow aisles and cold storage facilities.
o Follow all standard operating procedures and GMP guidelines.
o Follow all safety training and instructions and maintain knowledge of materials and safety requirements.
o Participate in the effective training of other employees.
o Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.
Collaboration & Communication:
o Interact professionally with all levels of warehouse staff.
o Communicate effectively with department team leaders and supervisors.
o Support team efforts and contribute to a team-based work environment.
o Participate in meetings, reviews, team huddles, and metric reviews.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment includes manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse environments and may involve handling viral and bacterial hazards, potentially hazardous chemicals, and infectious or potentially infectious bodily fluids, tissues, and samples.
