Director of Revenue Cycle
About the Role
This is an end-to-end revenue cycle leadership position responsible for maximizing reimbursement across a multi-state outpatient behavioral health operation. You'll own the full cycle, from eligibility and authorization through billing, collections, and payor contracting, while leading a team of managers and setting the performance standards that drive organizational results.
What You'll Own

Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide RCM standard operating procedures
Oversee eligibility verification, prior authorization, charge capture, billing, cash posting, and collections
Monitor A/R aging and enforce collection procedures against internal and external benchmarks
Resolve escalated reimbursement disputes with payors
Lead payor contracting, credentialing, and ongoing contract compliance
Address patient financial concerns including coverage, refunds, and escalations
Manage and develop direct reports including the A/R Billing Manager, Patient Registration Supervisors, Patient Access Supervisor, Cash Applications Manager, and NPFC Manager

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
8+ years of revenue cycle experience, with at least 5 in a healthcare environment
4+ years in a revenue cycle management role
Behavioral health billing experience strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of ICD-10, medical billing, and payor contracting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven ability to lead teams, set KPIs, and drive performance improvement
