Description

The Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs is a New York State agency which was created in June, 2013 by the "Protection of People with Special Needs Act". The Justice Center provides oversight for facilities across the state responsible for the care of individuals with special needs. The Vulnerable Persons Central Registry (VPCR) is a case management system which was developed for the Justice Center using Siebel CRM technology to track intake of incidents and allegations of abuse and neglect as well as the investigations, prosecution, adjudication, and oversight and monitoring resulting from these incidents. The consultant will work with other VPCR staff to maintain, enhance and support the VPCR to assure that this important 24/7 application will meet the needs of Justice Center staff.

Duties

• Debug and Configure Siebel Public Sector Applications, Siebel Enterprise Servers, Siebel Gateway Server, and Siebel Web Server
• Install Siebel Tools, CFG file settings, and ODBC Settings
• Install Hot fixes and Patches
• Perform Daily health checks which includes regularly checking status of server components, jobs, and system resources
• Use Siebel Tools to Configure VPCR application per user requirements from Justice Center.
• Use query tools such as SQL Developer to develop data queries to update data in VPCR.
• Unit test changes developed for VPCR application.
• Correct defects detected in Testing Stage of release cycle.
• Troubleshoot ITSM tickets for VPCR application
• Document repository development in a functional design format.
• Create test scripts within Siebel automation and testing tool for testing repository development on new releases.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience (15+ Years)
• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.

Requirements

• This is an 100% Onsite.
• 84 months experience installing and deploying enterprise scale Oracle Siebel CRM environments including Siebel Tools and Developer Web Client installation and configuration.
• 84 months experience in system and performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting of a clustered, highly available, interactive Siebel enterprise system.
• 84 months experience in migration of Oracle Siebel CRM 8.x enterprise applications in a clustered environment, using an Oracle 11g RAC database.
• 84 Months experience with Siebel version and patch set upgrades.
• 84 months experience with daily health check monitoring including but not limited to RCR, EIM, EAI Exception queue and other event and resource monitoring.
• 84 months experience automating administrative functions to help increase deployment process time.
• 84 months experience with compiles, both complete and incremental and user provisioning.
• 60 months experience administering Siebel applications in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment.
