Data Warehouse Developer

Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer for designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role requires strong hands-on experience with Data Integration (DI), Taskflows, Mappings, parameter files, and reusable transformations to build scalable, secure, and high-performing data pipelines. The candidate will manage metadata, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and drive continuous optimization within the IDMC and data warehouse environment.

Candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to translate functional requirements into well-architected IDMC-based data integration solutions. Responsibilities include developing ETL mapping specifications, performance tuning, ensuring data security compliance, and supporting the migration, enhancement, and maintenance of IDMC workflows aligned with enterprise data warehousing best practices.

NOTE: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Position is mostly remote, but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

Skills Required:

·        4+ years - Experience in data warehousing process design, development, performance & tuning using the Informatica data warehousing tool suite

·        3+ years - Knowledge in relational database technologies, e.g. Oracle, DB2, SQL Server

·        4+ years - Strong data management and data analysis using SQL

·        3+ years - Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC.

·        2 years - Expertise in implementation of large, complicated models and processes

·        3+ years - Experience in technical writing and documentation

·        4+ years - Experience with Data analysis

·        4+ years - Experience in data warehouse design and development

·        4+ years - Experience in requirements gathering for data warehouse

·        4+ years - Experience in Performance tuning

·        4+ years - Experience with Informatica PowerCenter

·        3+ years - Experience with IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud)

·        2+ years - Experience with DB2

·        2+ years - Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals

·        3+ years - Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to develop reports

·        3+ years - Experience developing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Procedures

·        3+ years - Experience Identify defects

·        3+ years - Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases

·        3+ years - In-depth knowledge of system development life cycle deliverables for each phase of development

·        Strong experience in PowerCenter to IDMC migration.

·        Proficient in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries in Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.

·        Proven ability to diagnose and remediate ETL and DB Query performance bottlenecks

·        Hands-on experience using Control-M for job scheduling and workflow automation

Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        2+ years - Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports

·        3+ years - Experience with Business Objects or other BI tools

·        2+ years - Experience in Dashboarding/Tableau

·        State of Wisconsin Privacy Regulations
