Job Title : Data Architect
Duration: Long Term
Location :- Tallahassee, Florida

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to support large-scale enterprise data warehouse initiatives in a highly regulated environment. The selected resource will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to design, maintain, and modernize enterprise data solutions while ensuring compliance with security and data governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A. Technical Knowledge
The Data Architect must have demonstrated expertise in:

Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) concepts and architectures
Dimensional modeling (star and snowflake schemas)
Relational database design principles
Data integration and data pipeline architecture
Data quality, validation, and reconciliation methodologies
Metadata management and data lineage concepts
Master data management and reference data strategies
Cloud-based data warehouse platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Data governance frameworks and best practices
Healthcare data domains, including Medicaid claims, eligibility, providers, encounters, or managed care data
Tools & Technologies: AWS, IBM InfoSphere, IBM Cognos, Splunk Enterprise, Tenable, Trend Micro, SortSite, QuerySurge, Erwin, ImageTrust, Semoss, SAS, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Aurora, DB Visualizer, DataStage

B. Technical Capabilities
The resource must be able to:

Design and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse architectures
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Translate business requirements into technical data designs
Analyze source systems and map data into EDW structures
Support data migration and modernization initiatives
Review and validate vendor-developed data models and database objects
Identify architectural gaps, risks, and inconsistencies
Partner with analytics, BI, and reporting teams to ensure data usability and availability
Support data governance processes, including data standards and definitions
Produce clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams

C. Professional Skills
The Data Architect must be able to:

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Work independently with minimal supervision
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate effectively across teams, vendors, and leadership
Adapt to evolving business and technical requirements
Support enterprise data modernization and analytics initiatives

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting Medicaid or public-sector enterprise data warehouse implementations
Experience transitioning enterprise data warehouse ownership
Familiarity with CMS reporting, federal data submissions, or analytics support
