Job Summary
The Data Architect / Analyst is responsible for designing data models, analyzing healthcare data, and supporting API-driven integrations, analytics, and fraud detection initiatives. This role ensures data quality, governance, and compliance with CMS and federal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models.
- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, anomalies, and fraud indicators.
- Support API Gateway and real-time data integration initiatives.
- Develop data mappings, transformations, and validation rules.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and federal standards.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets to support business operations.
- Collaborate with business, development, and architecture teams to deliver data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, or related roles.
- Strong experience with data modeling and SQL.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
- Experience with CMS Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) data and provider enrollment processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal healthcare programs.
- Knowledge of HL7 FHIR and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with API-driven integrations and data platforms.
- Familiarity with Kafka, cloud technologies (AWS preferred), and data governance practices.
- Knowledge of CMS Program Integrity and provider enrollment workflows.
