SME – Oracle E-Business Suite Lease and Finance Management

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Lease and Finance Management (OLFM) to join our team on a remote, 12+ month contract. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in Oracle Lease Management and related Oracle Financials modules, with a proven track record of leading implementations, upgrades, and production support engagements .

This role requires hands-on knowledge of the OLFM contract lifecycle, including contract authoring, booking, billing, accounting, contract modifications, asset management, termination, renewal, and end-of-term processing .

Key Responsibilities

Functional Solution Design & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end OLFM implementations, enhancements, and support engagements

• Conduct functional workshops with leasing, finance, accounting, operations, and IT stakeholders

• Configure and validate OLFM functionality covering the lease/finance contract lifecycle, including:

  • Contract authoring, booking, and activation

  • Products and financial products

  • Pricing and payment structures

  • Assets and asset lines

  • Billing schedules and stream generation

  • Contract modifications and rebooks

  • Partial and full terminations, early termination

  • Renewals, extensions, and evergreen processing

  • End-of-term processing, buyout, and purchase options

• Perform fit-gap analysis and document the rationale for proposed solutions, favoring configuration and standard Oracle functionality wherever practical

Accounting & Financial Integration

• Ensure OLFM transactions are correctly represented in downstream financial modules

• Validate OLFM integration with:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management / Payments

  • Oracle Tax / eBTax

• Validate accounting events, transaction flows, billing, receipts, asset accounting, and termination accounting

• Assist accounting teams in reconciling OLFM operational transactions with Oracle subledger and General Ledger results

Cross-Module Functional Design

• Understand and validate OLFM dependencies and integration points with relevant EBS components, including Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Install Base, Inventory, Trading Community Architecture, Oracle Payments, and eBTax

• Work with module specialists where configuration or transaction design crosses application boundaries
