Volt is immediately hiring for Backend Developer in Mesa, AZ
As a Backend Developer , you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Implement data models, queries, and aggregations in MongoDB, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy), improving automation, reliability, and release cadence.
- Apply analytical techniques to understand problem statements, explore solution options, and validate outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships and influence partners across engineering and business teams.
Required:
- 2 years of experience in software development using Spring Boot to develop RESTful APIs
- Experience with MongoDB databases and data structures
- Experience using CI/CD build pipelines
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience applying analytical techniques to real business problems
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence business partners
- Creativity to think beyond current tooling to deliver new and exciting software solutions
This is a Full Time/Contract opportunity.
This an onsite Role.
Experience with any of the following is a plus
- Experience developing applications with the FileMaker platform
- Experience deploying containerized applications and microservices
Pay Rate: $41 - $42 per hour
