Job Overview:
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will support the optimization of commercial processes, tools, and reporting to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with sales, finance, marketing, and supply chain teams to provide data-driven insights, streamline workflows, and ensure accurate execution of commercial strategies. You will leverage analytical skills, business acumen, and strong communication to support decision-making and continuous improvement across the commercial organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales, pricing, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that impact commercial performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports and dashboards to support sales, finance, and leadership teams.
  • Support the development and execution of commercial strategies, including promotions, pricing changes, and product launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve commercial processes, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in forecasting, demand planning, and pipeline analysis to support revenue and volume targets.
  • Validate data integrity across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and recommendations for management based on analytical findings.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of CRM or other commercial platforms, including user training and documentation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level metrics, recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a commercial operations, sales operations, business analysis, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Excel and experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and commercial processes such as pricing, promotions, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or a similar industry is a plus.

Pay Range: $30- $35/hr
