ETL lead with PostgreSQL Exp

Key Responsibilities • Lead PostgreSQL database migration and modernization projects. • Design and implement PostgreSQL solutions on AWS (RDS/Aurora). • Drive database performance tuning, HA/DR, backup, and recovery strategies. • Lead migration planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration support. • Mentor DBAs and developers and provide technical leadership. • Collaborate with architects, application teams, and business stakeholders. Required Skills • 10+ years of database experience with 5+ years in PostgreSQL. • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, replication, partitioning, and performance tuning. • Strong AWS experience (RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS, AWS SCT). • Experience migrating Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Database Specialty). • Experience in Banking and Financial Services. • Experience with large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
