Technical Support Professional Intermediate
3 5 years experience packaging software in ConfigMgr (SCCM) is desired.
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for use with packaging/deploying applications.
Experience working in an ITIL environment including change management processes.
Experience with InstallShield or other MSI authoring tools.
Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve problems.
Effective communication skills
Must be self-motivated and possess time management skills.
Must be a team player and work independently.
Remote position US based time zone location preferred.
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
Must be able to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Autopilot & Intune is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Ability to create applications, classic packages, and task sequences within ConfigMgr for new software deployments, updates to existing software, or to remove software, from Windows workstation and servers, following procedures and guidelines.
Ability to create Intune Applications natively or via Win32 packaging.
Create and manage ConfigMgr Compliance Rules/baselines.
Work with end users and fellow IT staff on software packaging and deployment needs, following procedures and guidelines.
Thoroughly evaluate, validate, and execute application packages, classic packages, and task sequences, and ensure that each provide detailed logs
Document and provide test evaluation results.
Create, update, deploy, troubleshoot, and remove objects in the ConfigMgr environment based on provided guidelines.
Create, update, and delete collections and removal of application reports for installation, modification, and removal of applications.
Create custom .msi and .mst software installs.
Package deployment creation meeting provided requirements.
Identify and manage long-term update schedule for software.
Identify pilot groups for software testing.
