Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide expert technical leadership and advisory support for enterprise software development, cloud computing, application modernization, healthcare information systems, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across multiple technology domains and serve as a trusted advisor to project teams, architects, developers, and stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The Technical SME will evaluate complex technical challenges, recommend innovative solutions, establish best practices, support enterprise modernization initiatives, and ensure technology solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority for enterprise software development, cloud computing, application modernization, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical consultation and strategic guidance for complex IT initiatives and enterprise solutions.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Review solution architectures, technical designs, implementation strategies, and project deliverables to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Support software development, cloud migration, DevSecOps, automation, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, business analysts, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and industry trends to improve enterprise capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on enterprise architecture, cloud-native development, application integration, APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance meetings, design workshops, and project planning sessions.
  • Support system integration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
  • Develop technical standards, best practices, design documentation, implementation guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies throughout project execution.
  • Mentor technical teams and promote engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure technology solutions comply with security, accessibility, enterprise governance, and operational requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience providing technical leadership across enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong experience with enterprise software development and application architecture.
  • Experience supporting cloud computing, application modernization, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile software delivery, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience evaluating complex technical solutions and providing strategic technology recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems, healthcare standards, terminology services, or medical vocabulary platforms.
  • Experience implementing cloud-native architectures and containerized applications.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud security, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting enterprise architecture governance.
  • Professional certifications in Cloud Technologies, Enterprise Architecture, Agile, DevSecOps, or Project Management are preferred.
