KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Network Engineer (Wireless) - Enterprise WiFi Migration & RF (Aruba/Cisco) | Active TS | CCIE/CWSP Preferred
As a Sr. Wireless Network Engineer III, you'll deliver senior wireless engineering expertise supporting a highly visible, security-sensitive customer with the goal to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless solutions across the federal government. Our team is responsible for delivering secure, mission-critical network capabilities, and you'll operate as a trusted technical contributor within an Agile execution model, directly strengthening operational reliability and customer confidence.
What you'll do:
  • Conduct predictive and physical RF site surveys.
  • Design, deploy, and tune enterprise wireless networks.
  • Troubleshoot RF interference and wireless performance issues.
  • Support and maintain wireless controllers and access points.
  • Participate actively in Agile execution and technical discussions.
  • Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical environment.
  • Build and maintain strong customer trust through technical expertise, responsiveness, and reliability.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Active U.S. Top Secret clearance required; must be eligible for expedited SCI read-in (recent, in-scope investigation required; prior TS/SCI and polygraph preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
  • DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 441 Network Operations Specialist work role (e.g., Security+, Network+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security)
  • Plus one of the following:
    • CWSP (or equivalent professional-level wireless certification), or
    • Security+ combined with a strong enterprise wireless certification (Security+ may be used to satisfy the DoD 8140 requirement)
  • CCIE Enterprise Wireless strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering with a primary focus on enterprise wireless networking.
  • Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise WiFi environments.
  • Hands-on experience conducting predictive and physical wireless site surveys, including RF analysis and performance validation.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve RF interference, coverage, and capacity issues in operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing wireless LAN controllers and enterprise access points.
  • Hands-on experience conducting predictive and physical RF site surveys.
  • Deep understanding of RF propagation and interference mitigation.
  • Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba controllers and access points supporting 802.11ax and 802.11be standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless, Ubiquity, and Ericsson edge solutions.
  • Explicit experience integrating wireless solutions with security systems and monitoring and supporting endpoint connectivity.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.
SALARY RANGE: $230K - $320K

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies, which may include:
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Company-paid training and/or certifications
