10+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Vertex O-Series in enterprise environments
Deep functional and technical knowledge of Vertex configuration including Tax Assist rules, jurisdictions, rates, exemption certificates, and reporting
Experience implementing Vertex in extremely high-volume transaction environments
Hands-on Vertex configuration experience covering both digital services and physical goods tax scenarios
Proven ability to integrate Vertex with SAP and custom application systems
Experience defining integration standards including API contracts, payload structures, error handling frameworks, and monitoring strategies
Solid engineering background with hands-on experience in API design, data mapping, JSON/XML transformations, and secure integrations
Ability to define tax data flows, transaction mapping, and reconciliation controls across upstream and downstream systems
Experience participating in architecture reviews and guiding engineering best practices
