Summary

Yellow Duck Technologies is seeking a cleared Senior System/Network Engineer to lead infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization efforts for the unified solution. This position provides technical leadership for complex infrastructure challenges, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. The engineer works closely with development teams to implement cloud-native architectures and optimize system performance.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Lead network architecture and security implementations.
Optimize system performance and resource utilization.
Implement advanced monitoring and observability solutions.
Design disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
Lead Infrastructure as Code implementations.
Troubleshoot complex system and network issues.
Mentor junior engineers.
Support security assessments and RMF activities.
Lead infrastructure-related technical discussions.

Requirements:

Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
10+ years of system/network engineering experience.
Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
Experience designing multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
Understanding of DoD security requirements and RMF.
