Job Title: Whole Loan Data Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC or New York, NY | Hybrid 3x/week
Contract Length: 6+ months (likely extension to 12+ months)
Rate: - Charlotte: $55-60/hr
- New York: $65-70/hr

Top Requirements:3+ years data analysis experience with a focus on data architecture, data mapping, and data flows (not a reporting role)Experience working with middle-office data and datasetsUnderstanding of front-office systems and how data flows to risk, finance, accounting, and operationsKnowledge of accounting and finance concepts (wholesale lending, mortgage securities, and/or capital markets products)Mortgage-backed securities, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or fixed income backgroundExcellent communication and status management skills to support project managers and senior stakeholdersPlusses:Exposure to large-scale data platform modernization or Data-as-a-Service initiativesExperience working in revenue-generating programsJob Summary:Seeking a Whole Loan Data Analyst to support a high-visibility, revenue-generating initiative within Capital Markets. This role will focus on establishing a new strategic data architecture that enables real-time data distribution and next-generation Data-as-a-Service capabilities. The analyst will collaborate across multiple applications to map data attributes, understand data flows, and support downstream use cases across risk, finance, accounting, and operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Analyze and map data attributes and data flows across front-office, middle-office, and downstream systems
- Support the development and implementation of a strategic data platform and future-state data architecture
- Partner with multiple applications and stakeholder groups across the bank
- Translate front-office data into usable datasets supporting risk, finance, accounting, and operational functions
- Provide regular status updates, track progress, and coordinate with project managers
- Support data quality, controls, and reconciliation efforts for the new platform
