Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced
IT Service Center Analyst II to deliver reliable technical support to internal employees and contractors at a corporate office in
Hoffman Estates, IL. This role blends
hands-on, onsite support with
remote troubleshooting, supporting both
Windows and macOS users, with a strong emphasis on
Office 365 and
Active Directory.
This position requires a consistent
onsite presence Monday through Friday and is best suited for an IT professional who enjoys direct user interaction and working in a structured enterprise environment.
What You'll Be Responsible For- Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues related to hardware, software, accounts, and basic network connectivity
- Provide in-person support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and AV equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently when possible; escalate more complex problems to higher-level support teams
- Log, update, and resolve incidents and requests using ServiceNow and other ITSM tools
- Support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding, including workstation setup, account creation, and access removal
- Perform Active Directory administration, such as password resets and account management
- Support Microsoft 365 / Office 365 applications across Windows and Mac environments
- Troubleshoot Microsoft applications on macOS systems
- Assist users with MFA, access requests, and account-related inquiries
- Track and manage IT assets using ServiceNow, Tanium, and spreadsheets
- Deploy and configure approved applications and security software
- Provide hands-on assistance for conference rooms, meetings, AV setups, and onsite events
- Coordinate laptop shipments for new hires and ensure timely hardware returns from offboarded users
- Adhere to documented procedures, knowledge articles, and escalation guidelines
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and deliver excellent customer service
Required Experience & Skills- 2-4 years of experience in IT support roles (Service Desk, Help Desk, or Desktop Support)
- Proven experience providing both remote and onsite technical support
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Windows and macOS operating systems
- Office 365 / Microsoft 365
- Active Directory user administration
- Basic networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Experience supporting Mac users, including Microsoft tools on macOS
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable working onsite full-time in Hoffman Estates, IL
- Flexibility to assist with occasional overtime or weekend support when approved
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience with Bomgar or other remote access tools
- Familiarity with Tanium
- Conference room and AV troubleshooting experience
- Experience documenting solutions and resolutions within ServiceNow

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
