We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to support a long-term application modernization initiative. This position involves significant new application development in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have particularly strong and recent modern Angular experience combined with solid hands-on Java, Spring Boot and SQL development skills.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong recent hands-on experience with modern Angular

• Strong TypeScript development experience

• Strong Java development experience

• Hands-on Spring Boot

• REST API development

• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills

• Experience developing full-stack enterprise applications

• Experience building new applications/features from the ground up

• Understanding of Angular component architecture, RxJS, state/data flow, lazy loading and performance optimization

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and backend data access

• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Preferred Skills

• Database/table/schema design

• Data modeling

• Snowflake

• SQL performance tuning and execution plans

• SonarQube

• Nexus IQ

• CVE/security remediation

• AI-assisted software development with strong code validation practices

Important: Modern Angular is the primary differentiating skill for this position. Candidates must still be genuine full-stack engineers capable of working independently across Angular, Java/Spring Boot and SQL.

Although the position is primarily remote, candidates must be willing and able to attend an in-person technical assessment and occasional onsite meetings when requested.
