Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer
We are seeking a Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python and Playwright to join a fast-paced engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and testing across UI, API, backend, and database layers.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium
- Develop automated tests for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows
- Perform UI, API, integration, regression, functional, and database testing
- Write SQL queries for data validation and backend verification
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Support automation framework modernization and migration
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to testing best practices
Required Skills:
Python, Playwright, Selenium, API Testing, Advanced SQL, UI Automation, Database Testing, Automation Framework Development, Data Structures & Algorithms, Design Patterns, Debugging, and Troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills:
CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, Microservices, Performance Testing, and Agile experience.
Candidate Profile:
5+ years of SDET/QA Automation experience with strong programming and software engineering skills. Candidates from fast-paced, high-performance engineering environments are preferred.
