Software Engineer II-Food Technology

Company Overview

The organization is actively expanding its technology team to support ongoing application development and system integration projects. This position offers a stable contract through October 2027 with potential flexibility for remote work after onboarding.

Role Summary
This role involves developing and updating software applications as part of a dynamic Food Technology team. You will work on rewriting existing applications to integrate with a new product management and inventory system. Success in this position involves delivering high-quality code, collaborating effectively with team members, and supporting the organization’s technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# (.NET Framework 4.8+ / .NET 8+), ensuring they meet functional and technical specifications.
• Design and optimize SQL Server database objects including tables, stored procedures, and views.
• Build front-end features using HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Blazor.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate actively with team members in an agile environment to deliver project milestones.
• Participate in code reviews, version control, and continuous integration activities.
• Support integration efforts with messaging or event-driven architecture concepts where applicable.
• Contribute to team discussions and communicate technical issues effectively to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with C# in a professional development environment.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and understanding indexing.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience writing unit tests using tools like xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Azure Repos.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and interact regularly with team members.
• Located in the Tulsa area or willing to work onsite.
