We are looking for a qualified Hardware FA Engineer to join our team.
Role & Responsibilities:
● Lead failure analysis efforts on switches and routers.
● Perform in-depth root cause analysis, determine contributing factors, and recommend
corrective actions to improve field product hardware quality.
● Perform fault reproduction, troubleshooting, system characterization, and root cause
analysis of product issues.
● Ensure efficient bug tracking and resolution.
● Prepare comprehensive technical reports for customers detailing
findings from product failure investigations.
● Apply knowledge of hardware system and board design, networking products, and
high-speed SerDes interfaces.
● Communicate technical findings effectively and present information to groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related
degree.
● 6+ years of experience in hardware board circuit and system design, troubleshooting,
or failure analysis.
● Experience designing for high-speed signals using SerDes/serial transmission
technologies.
● Experience with electrical diagnostics and measurement equipment, including
oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, and network traffic generators such
as Ixia and Spirent.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with CPembedded CPUs and FPGAs/PLDs.
● Good understanding of control interfaces such as PCIe, MDIO, SPI, and I2C.
● Experience with MS Excel and data collection.
● Familiarity with Python, PERL, or similar scripting and execution languages.
