Lead UI/UX Engineer with deep expertise in modern front-end engineering, design systems, and cloud-native application development. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive UI/UX strategy, architect reusable component libraries, and deliver high-performance customer experiences across T-Mobile’s digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with React, Next.js, UI patterns, user flows, and AWS cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

 · Lead end-to-end UI/UX design and front-end engineering for large-scale, customer-facing applications.

 · Architect, build, and maintain reusable component libraries and design system patterns used across multiple product teams.

 · Translate complex business requirements into intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI.

· Drive UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles across teams.

 · Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, architects, and UX researchers to deliver cohesive user experiences.

 · Implement high-performance front-end applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern state-management patterns.

· Optimize UI performance, rendering strategies, and SEO using Next.js SSR/SSG capabilities.

· Deploy and operate front-end applications in AWS cloud environments (Lambda, CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.).

· Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

· Ensure UI components and flows align with T-Mobile’s brand, accessibility, and security standards. Required Qualifications

 · 10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX engineering, front-end development, or design-system architecture.

 · Proven experience as a Lead Engineer, UI/UX Lead, or Front-End Technical Lead.

· Expert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

. · Strong background in UI/UX design, including user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and pattern creation.

· Demonstrated experience building scalable, reusable component libraries and design systems.

 · Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications in AWS cloud infrastructure.

 · Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

· Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tooling. Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.

· Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures.

· Knowledge of GraphQL, REST APIs, and backend integration patterns.

 · Experience in telecom, large enterprise, or high-traAic consumer applications.

 · Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

 · Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design and technical decisions

. · Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive clarity.
